- Teach classroom counseling lessons - typically revolving around The Six Character Counts Pillars of Respect, Responsibility, Citizenship, Caring, Fairness, and Trustworthiness. The three development domains that are always being involved in planning are Academic Development, Social/Emotional Development and Career Development. - Facilitate small group counseling and short-term individual counseling to address issues ranging from, but not limited too, increasing social skills and self-esteem to anger management and processing lifestyle changes such as divorce.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Consult with parents
- Provide information and/or referrals for community resources to families
- We are blessed to have local support to provide food assistance to those in need. If you are not familiar with the program it is kept confidential and done discretely without any names being released to anyone. The only information I would need is: (1) the number of children in the household; (2) the number of adults; (3) any known allergies.
